The main highlight for me: beating PSU at PSU in December, 1999. Jeremy Hunter said it was embarrassing losing to guys in “skirts.” (We came out to bagpipe music with our kilts on at the Bryce Jordan Center!) Coach Sunderland told the media on a number of occasions that he felt they were in better shape, to which I replied, “You better hope we never get into shape!”
Another one: the NCAA 2006 tournament where the final team rankings included Edinboro 8th, PSU 9th. I wanted Phil Davis to win, but I knew if he did, that would drop us to 9th. It’s tough for me! I want PSU to beat EVERYONE else except EDINBORO! GO SCOTS!!!
