Tickets for the 2011 NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia
The PSWC has purchased a suite of lower box seats at the Wachovia Center for the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Tournament in Philadelphia. In addition, the Penn State Athletic Ticket Office will order their regular allocation of block seating. Note that PSWC members have priority for ordering only until July 1. All-Session tickets for seats in the suite of lower boxes will cost $300 each. Tickets for regular seating will cost approximately $165 each. Anticipating a flood of orders for the lower box suite seating, the PSWC has established the following policies:
1. Tickets for the suite of box seats can be purchased only by 2010 – 2011 PSWC members.
2. Each PSWC membership unit may order no more than two box seats (no matter how many family members are included in that membership.)
3. Application forms for both levels of seating will be mailed to current PSWC members in early to mid-May.
4. Orders for box suites must include a completed application form and payment in full.
5. Orders will only be accepted only by U.S. mail.
6. If orders exceed the number of available box suite tickets, orders will be accepted in the order of postmark dates on the mailing envelope.
7. Applicants will be notified of the status of their box suite order as soon as it is received and verified.
8. PSWC members wanting regular Penn State block seating should send the appropriate application form directly to the Penn State Athletic Ticket Office (as we have been doing for the last 3 to 5 years. The PSWC will make every effort to inform applicants for box seats of the status of their order prior to the July 1 deadline.)
The PSWC purchased the lower box suite of tickets to assure the Penn State wrestling family would have access to the best seats in the Wachovia Center. A large PSU contingent, all decked out in our white shirts, will make a highly visible Penn State rooting section at the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Tournament.
