Penn State Wrestling Club Bus Trips


The Penn State Wrestling Club is planning a number of fan trips to away matches this year. Club members, parents and other relatives of wrestlers, and all wrestling fans are welcome. Joining on these trips is a great way to share your interest in Penn State wrestling with other wrestling enthusiasts.

  1. Lehigh, Dec. 7th. This will be a day trip, leaving in the morning for a 7:00 P.M. match at Lehigh. Prior to the match, we will have dinner at former Penn State wrestlers, Frank and Anthony Morici’s Italian Restaurant in Bethlehem. Penn State versus Lehigh is always an exciting match, and this should prove to be the same.   2. Ohio State, Jan.25th. We will leave State College on Friday morning for this 7:00 P.M. match against Ohio State. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn which is across the street from St. John Arena. Coaches, wrestlers, and other Penn State fans will be invited to attend a social at the hotel following the meet. On Saturday morning we will have a brief cultural exposure prior to our return to State College. Read Trip Details

  3. Lock Haven, Feb. 23rd The Penn State Affiliate Club is planning this trip for Penn State students and their guests. The match is at 7:00 P.M. Saturday night. We will return to Penn State Saturday evening after the match. If you are a Penn State student and a fan of Penn State wrestling, you don’t want to miss this event. Read Trip Details

  4. NCAA Tournament Mar. 20th - 22nd in St. Louis, MO. We will leave State College on Tuesday afternoon, Mar. 18, stop overnight in Zanesville, Ohio and arrive in St. Louis on Wed., allowing ample time in the city prior to the start of wrestling on Thursday. We will spend 4 nights at the Millennium Hotel in historic downtown St. Louis. Read Trip Details

  • Complete a "Trip Sign-up Form" and mail it with a check for the cost of the bus to Penn State Wrestling Club, P.O. Box 1103, State College PA 16804.
